Before joining the team, Lea has amassed practical international arbitration experience through various internships at leading international institutions, including the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. During her internships, Lea provided ADR services to resolve disputes in diverse areas, including transnational commercial contracts, construction/ engineering projects, and intellectual property issues. She handled arbitration procedural administration, conducted legal research, and facilitated arbitration hearings, contributing to the efficient resolution of complex disputes.
Lea has actively participated in numerous esteemed international programs, such as the WIPO - University of Geneva Summer School on Intellectual Property in Geneva, the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris, and the Hague Academy of International Law Winter Courses. In addition, she published one practical arbitration articles titled
‘No Dispute, No Jurisdiction’ Principle in Arbitration: An Analysis in CMB v. Fund & Cattle Case on the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and contributed to the publication of an article on recent developments in Australian arbitration law in collaboration with ACICA45 for the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration Review Journal.
